Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) Minutes
Date: Friday, 27 February 2026
Mr Andrew Leahy, Club Captain, opened the meeting and welcomed all members. He thanked everyone for their attendance.
The Captain asked if there were any apologies.
Apologies: None received.
The Captain explained that the purpose of the meeting was to vote for the position of Club Vice-Captain for 2026.
The appointed tellers were announced as:
The Captain announced the two candidates standing for the position:
The Captain invited all members present to cast their votes.
The tellers circulated to collect the completed ballot papers.
The Captain declared Richard Thomas duly elected as Club Vice-Captain for 2026.
John Wright addressed the meeting, congratulating Richard Thomas and wishing him every success in the role.
Richard Thomas then thanked the members for their support and stated that he would strive to be the best ambassador possible for the Club.
The Club Captain thanked both candidates for their remarks and formally closed the meeting.
